From the moment I first stepped foot on Santorini, I was instantly smitten. Everything from the incredible Greek cuisine to the small villages, quaint atmospheres and awe-inspiring landscapes of Santorini has a way of truly capturing one’s heart.

While on the island we opted to stay at El Greco Hotel. With our home base in Fira, we had the perfect spot from which to visit the island via rental car, scooter or our own two legs!

Restaurant Raki in Megalochori is a quaint and authentic Greek taverna, conveniently located in the village’s main square. Raki uses fresh, local ingredients to create their traditional fare and is repeatedly considered one of the best restaurants on the island. The restaurant even offers cooking courses for those wanting to expand their knowledge of Greek cuisine!
