Trekking Through Patagonia

Armed with adventurous ambition, a friend and I set off for the far, southern reaches of South America in hopes of crossing off a personal bucket list item, Patagonia. The alluring panoramas of our trip were cradled by an ever-changing climate, giving us a fierce dose of Patagonia during its most mild season.

After thoroughly enjoying Patagonia, we opted to explore more of Chile, visiting tiny surf towns with world-class waves and the touristy, sun-soaked streets and beaches of Valparaiso.

From here we moved on to Buenos Aires, Argentina where I spent the remainder of my time. I’m a professional photographer and spent half the month traveling solo. While lonely at first (my only comfort being a camera) it quickly became a blessed opportunity, allowing me to more intentionally explore my surroundings. This solo experience forced me outside my comfort zone and into the friendly embrace of the cities and people of South America. It was a beautiful takeaway for me and one that I hope is clearly seen in my collection of images.

I just got back from northern Patagonia and loved it. Your photos are gorgeous and now I am even more determined to make it to the southern part of Patagonia.
I was so mesmerized with the graffiti in Valparaiso to even know they had beaches there. :)
