A Honeymoon in Scotland

It’s hard to put into words how amazing it was to visit a place I’d been dreaming of since I was a little girl listening to my grandmother talk about her home. Instead, I’ll put our honeymoon in Scotland into pictures – lots of pictures! After our arrival in Glasgow we stopped by the Kelvingrove Museum, enjoyed an extra-large breakfast and recovered from the wedding and jet-lag at our hotel, 15 Glasgow.

Side note: about 90% of these photos were shot on the Fuji X100. It’s one amazing travel camera!

The next days of our trip were spent in Edinburgh with a stay at The Walton. Mike ate Haggis for the first time (and hated it), we drank Irn Bru (often dubbed ‘Scotland’s other national drink’), visited the Royal Botanic Garden, ate more chips and Irn Bru, saw the Edinburgh Castle, Arthur’s Seat, Edinburgh from above and lots and lots of hats.
